2026-03-26 Whistler Blackcomb snow report

4cm overnight kept the alpine looking tidy compared to the old base, and the middle of the resort was partially sunny even though it stayed cloudy and windy when I pushed out near the peak; the whole experience felt like a crustier version of yesterday’s report with more bright holes.

The fresh pow was obvious in the upper bowls, but the new snow sat on a clusty, icy foundation so it only felt playful in short bursts. Visibility and wind kept the upper zones choppy, and the lower lifts still had the same icy patches everybody was looking for cover from, which made the day feel more cramped than usual because too many people were chasing the better snow.
