2021-01-04 Grouse mountain snow report

Happy new year!

Today's Grouse mountain stayed wet. Snowy above Chalet and rainy anywhere below Chalet. Snow was soft but some areas have melt and wet. Since the holiday season has been over, it was not as busy as previous, so it's safer to run and shorter to wait for lifts.

Overall rate: 4/5 ★★★★☆

The Cut was really foggy.

Paper trail was very good, except for the very bottom.

Unfortunately the Cut and some part of Heaven's Sake were foggy, but most others were fine. For example Expo looked foggy but clear enough to read the terrain in advance.

I don't recommend Blue Face yet. It looked powdery but the surface was wet, so it slows your board very quickly when you are riding, and very hard o walk when you fall. There were a lot of hidden big holes that you have to avoid as well.

Bottom of the Cut was fine in the morning but got a little pond since afternoon.
