2021-02-03 Grouse mountain snow report

With fresh snow on the ground and bluebird skies, today was one of those days you just don't miss.

Whatever it takes.

The snow was soft and plentiful, perfect conditions to grip and rip with The Cut and Paper Trail runs being the best ones to run today. Upper Buckhorn and the bottom of Expo were a tad icy but still runnable.

Usually Grouse on a Wednesday morning is pretty dead but with today's conditions people were flocking to come snowboard and ski. Even then the lift lines were no more than 5-10 wait at the most.

Overall rate: 5/5 ★★★★★

We have unlimited visibility mostly. The terrain stayed very readable all the time.

The Cut and Paper Trail conditions were really great.

The Cut

Unfortunately due to the good condition it got very busy both for Screaming Eagle and Olympic Express lifts.

Expo was icy under the shade but the sunny side got some snow on top of ice, so it was ridable.

Bonus tip: We found a jump at Inferno surrounded by moguls. It might be fun for highly advanced snowboarders, but unfortunately we aren't ready to hit that.
